Body butters can be made with a mixture of hard oils and liquid oils. The only thing to pay attention to when making body butters is the ratio of the butters is the ratio of the hard oil to liquid oil depending on the consistency you want. Personally, I prefer body butters creamy so when applied to the skin, it melts in and spreads easily. For this reason, I keep my hard to soft oil ratio at about 55% to 45%. This gives a silky smooth luxuriously feeling body butter that’s super nourishing to the skin.
